Hey all,
Thought I would just write a relaxed blog post this week rather than going in on a specific topic.
Like the title says, how is it almost March already?! It only seems like yesterday when we were enjoying our Christmas holidays. Now, Easter and Spring are on the horizon.
For me, its a sense check and wake-up call to see if I am still working towards the goals I set out to achieve at the start of the year. Whether that be my career, blogging or fitness.
So far, I think I’m doing ok but at the same time I also feel like I could be doing more. Therefore, my aim in the coming months is it basically increase the pressure on myself just a little, to increase the output that much more.
I think at the start of the year, we all of the excuse of easing ourselves into the New Year, as we still have 12 months left. Well, now thats almost down to 10, so for me, its time to get myself together even more!
On the job side of things, I have started to get busier as these months are the notorious ‘busy season’ in audit. So for me, it’s going to be even more of a challenge to manage my time effectively and ensuring I am hitting the different goals I set out to achieve. I think this time last year I got so caught up in my job that I neglected other areas of my life.
This year, with better planning, hopefully I can avoid that. I think a big bonus this year as well is that I don’t have any exams, which is a massive sense of relief.
So yeah, that’s it for me on this Saturday night on the 19th February. I’m about to do some stretching, have some dinner, and then hopefully see Amir Khan win against Kell Brook!
