It’s that time of year again – Ramadan!
Ramadan is a month of fasting and abstaining from things considered to be impure for the mind and body. As Muslims, we abstain from food, drink and impure thoughts between the hours of sunrise (Fajr) and sunset.
My aim this year is to treat this month as a reset button and strengthen my faith. Fasting (in all areas of life, not just food and drink) is a great tool to do that, as it allows you to put more focus into the things that really matter.
I do plan on doing a full blog on the benefits this month can and has brought me in the past. However, for now, feel free to check out the blog I done on the benefits on intermittent fasting, which I perform on a daily basis.
